Georgia’s stories, held in trust

History lives when we carry it forward.

The Georgia Rainbow History Project is creating pathways to LGBTQ+ archives, oral histories, bibliography, and community resources across the state.

Why the archives matter

Community history is carried in letters, photographs, flyers, recordings, publications, and lived memory. Bringing those materials into view helps people discover connections, conduct research, and understand how the past continues to shape Georgia.
